Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These terms of service (hereinafter the "Terms") govern the use of the SangoBids platform, published by Sango SARL (hereinafter "we", "our", "the platform"). By accessing SangoBids, you accept these Terms in their entirety.

2. Description of the service

SangoBids is a platform that aggregates and monitors public tenders across French-speaking Africa. Our services include:

  • Collecting and publishing public tenders from official sources
  • Personalised alerts by email and push notification
  • Analysis tools assisted by artificial intelligence
  • Submission tracking and bid management

3. Registration and account

  • Registration is free and open to any individual or legal entity.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when registering.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • An account is personal and may not be transferred to a third party.

4. Plans and subscriptions

SangoBids offers a free plan and two paid plans (Business, Pro). The price and features of each plan are detailed on our pricing page.

  • Payment is made by bank card (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay) through Stripe on the web, or by in-app purchase (Apple In-App Purchase on iPhone and iPad, Google Play billing on Android).
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual).
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your settings. Access remains active until the end of the paid period.
  • No refund is issued for billing periods that have already started.

4.1 Subscriptions through Apple (iOS)

If you take out a paid subscription (Business or Pro) through the iOS app (Apple In-App Purchase):

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when the purchase is confirmed.
  • The subscription renews automatically (monthly or annually, as chosen) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You manage and cancel the subscription in your Apple device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
  • Refunds for purchases made through Apple are subject to Apple's Terms of Service.

4.2 Subscriptions through Google Play (Android)

If you take out a paid subscription (Business or Pro) through the Android app (Google Play billing):

  • Payment is charged to your Google account when the purchase is confirmed.
  • The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current period.
  • You manage and cancel the subscription in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
  • Refunds for purchases made through Google Play are subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

5. Acceptable use

By using SangoBids, you agree to:

  • Not use the platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes
  • Not attempt to extract data in bulk (scraping) without authorisation
  • Not circumvent technical limitations or security measures
  • Not impersonate a third party
  • Respect intellectual property rights
  • Not post any content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory, misleading, sexually explicit or violent, and not harass or threaten any other user. We apply zero tolerance to such content and behaviour.

Every company profile and every conversation can be reported or blocked from the app. We review each report within 24 hours and, where a violation is found, remove the content concerned and suspend the account responsible.

6. Tender data

The tenders published on SangoBids come from official public sources. We strive to ensure the information is accurate, however:

  • SangoBids does not guarantee that the data collected is complete or accurate.
  • The information provided does not constitute legal or professional advice.
  • It is your responsibility to verify the information with the official sources before submitting any bid.

7. Artificial intelligence tools

The analyses and recommendations generated by our AI tools (checklists, win scores, eligibility checks) are provided for guidance only. They are not a guarantee of any outcome and do not replace the expertise of a public procurement professional.

8. Intellectual property

The SangoBids platform, its design, its source code and its original content are the property of Sango SARL. The tenders themselves are public documents.

9. Limitation of liability

  • SangoBids cannot be held liable for decisions made on the basis of the information provided.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the platform.
  • Our liability is limited to the amount of subscription fees paid over the previous 12 months.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account in the event of a breach of these Terms, without notice or compensation.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may amend these Terms at any time. Changes take effect as soon as they are published on this page. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon. Any dispute relating to the use of SangoBids shall be submitted to the competent courts of Douala, Cameroon.
